Rings and amulets
Unpolished pieces drop from any creature. Polish rolls a tier and a set of permanent powers.
Any creature can drop an unpolished ring or amulet — rarely. Polishing one, with refined oil, turns it into a finished piece with powers of its own.
The roll
Polish rolls a tier — Basic, Advanced, Grand or Divine — and a set of affixes: bonuses like swiftness, warding, life steal, faster gathering or cheaper travel. Higher tiers carry more affixes and stronger rolls. The piece is named after its first affix ("Divine Ring of Swiftness"). The roll is final: polished jewelry cannot be re-rolled or enhanced.
The exact tier odds and every affix's range are on the unpolished piece's page.
Wearing it
You wear two rings and one amulet. Like armor, jewelry cannot be swapped while your status dot is red.
Trading it
Finished pieces are tradeable, and Trade Hub listings show their affixes.
