Step 6 — Understand your land
The tinted circle around your flag is yours. Here is what that protects, what it does not, and how other players can take it.
Tap your flag. The menu shows its name, health and travel setting, and the tinted circle around it is your claim.
What owning land means
- Only you can build on it — your workshop, cabin, sign and decorations all need your own ground.
- Nobody else can plant a flag on it. Where two claims meet, the border falls exactly halfway between the two flags.
- Other players can still walk across it, gather on it and fight on it. Land is not a wall.
Flags can be attacked
Any player can attack your flag with whatever weapon they hold. Attacks can only bring it down to half health; to finish it they must set it burning, and a burning flag gives you time to come back and repair it. If it burns out, the flag is gone and the land is free again.
Hardening a flag makes the burn take a full day instead of moments — worth it for the flags you care about.
Travel settings
Each flag can be public (anyone may teleport to it, for a fee you set — or free), normal (players must ask you for passage) or private (only you). Your enemies are never allowed on your flags at all.
What the tutorial asks
Just open your flag's menu and have a look.
